Who we are

This website is run by WHPC MENA, the Middle East and North Africa affiliate of Women in HPC. You can reach us at marhaba@whpcmena.org.

Information you send us

Mailing list. You sign up through a Google Form, which asks for your name, email, role, institution and areas of interest. Google stores the responses on our behalf. We use them only to send you WHPC MENA updates and to understand who our community is.

Other forms. The contact, mentorship and volunteering forms do not store anything on this website. They open your own email app with a message addressed to us. We use what you send only to reply to you or to organise the activity you asked about.

We keep your details until you ask us to remove them. Email us at any time to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. We never sell your information.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, roughly which country and city visitors come from, which site referred them, and what type of device and browser they use. This helps us decide what to publish. We cannot identify individual visitors from these reports.

• Google Analytics runs on every page and sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) to recognise returning visitors.
• Google processes this data on our behalf. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. See Google's privacy policy and how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
• To opt out, block cookies for this site in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Hosting and fonts

Our web host records standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and request times, to keep the site running and secure. Fonts are served from this website, not from a third-party font service.

Links to other sites

We link to other websites, such as LinkedIn and Women in HPC. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
