About
About WHPC MENA
WHPC MENA (Women in High Performance Computing – Middle East & North Africa) is the official regional affiliate of the global Women in HPC initiative.
We are dedicated to closing the gender gap in high-performance computing (HPC) across the Middle East and North Africa. We support and amplify women in HPC, advanced computing and related fields through networking, knowledge sharing, mentorship and outreach, shaped for the MENA context.
WHPC MENA is a collaboration between four founding institutions in four countries: NYU Abu Dhabi in the UAE, MoroccoHPC with UM6P in Morocco, Kuwait University, and KAUST in Saudi Arabia. Our community now reaches seven countries.
We welcome everyone who is interested in HPC and in building a more inclusive and diverse computing ecosystem in the region.
